All the children’s programs at Eagle Vale Anglican Church are led by responsible men and women who are members of the church. Each adult leader has undertaken child protection training provided by the Anglican diocese and has a successfully verified Working with Children Check. The Children’s and Families Worker, Sashi Grayndler, leads and co-ordinates these activities – please contact her if you have any questions or concerns.
Little Lambs Eagle Vale Playgroup
This playgroup is the place for you and your little one to make friends and have fun. Everyone is welcome to join in! For children aged 0-5 and their parents, grandparents or carers; our playgroup runs every Thursday during school terms from 10am-12pm at the church. Cost per week is $2/child or $3/family.
This program is run by a team of volunteers led by Elly Thurgar.
This is the Sunday morning kids’ program for children in years K-5. Here, kids have the opportunity to learn about God in a fun environment. Elevate runs during the Sunday Morning Church at 9.45am. Kids sit in the church service, with their parents/carers, at the beginning and go to the group with their leaders after a short time. Our Elevate program includes Bible teaching and stories, as well as activities and craft that relate to the teaching.
Kids are generally split into age groups, allowing for all children to learn from the Bible in a way that is relevant to them. There is also a crèche for infants and toddlers up to four years of age. Please see our FAQ page for more information about the quiet room for babies.
This is a weekly kids’ club for boys and girls in school years 3-6. It’s a great place to learn about Jesus, make new friends and have heaps of fun together. It runs every Friday afternoon of the public school term, from 3.30pm to 5pm, on church grounds.
Each week we learn from the Bible, play games, do a variety of creative and fun activities and have a yummy and healthy afternoon tea together. All this for just $2 per child (special family rates offered for families with more than three kids)
If you’re in high school, we’d love for you to join us at Alive!; the youth group at Eagle Vale Anglican. It’s on from 6:30-8:45pm Fridays at the church (except during school holidays and week 1 of each term).
Each week at Alive! we have dinner together, have some fun and hear from the Bible about God and life. We also go on camps and outings throughout the year.
Your first night at Alive! is free. After that there is a small cost to help cover weekly activities and dinner. If you’re joining in dinner, the cost is $5. If not, there is a $2 entry-only donation. If you can’t afford the cost for whatever reason, you are still welcome to attend.
If you have questions about youth group, email our Youth and Young Adults Pastor, Simon directly at email@example.com
On a Sunday morning, the doors are open at our 9:45am service.

A number of small groups meet weekly where people can share the Bible and pray together in a relaxed environment. There are 5-10 people to a group, so there are great opportunities for discussion, asking and answering questions and growing together in faith. If you call Eagle Vale Anglican your church and would like to join a group, speak to Craig this Sunday or send him an email.
Weekly prayer meetings are held on Monday and Friday mornings. If you’re interested in coming along to one of these meetings, please email Craig or speak to him at church.
There are also various social groups for members of the church, and one-off events which are open to everyone throughout the year. Head over to our events page to see what’s coming up.
